Lisa Ross is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in public health and a dedicated commitment to improving the well-being of individuals and communities. Currently serving as the State Program Coordinator, Lisa provides leadership for the Kansas Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (ENFEP) and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program-Education (SNAP-Ed) initiatives, both implemented by Kansas State University Research and Extension. Having joined Extension in March 2016, Lisa assumed the pivotal role of leading these programs in October 2018.
Before Extension, Lisa served as the coordinator of a local Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. Additionally, she stepped into the role of Interim Director at the local health department. Her background encompasses organizing, planning, directing, and managing multiple programs, all aimed at directly impacting and enhancing the overall health of diverse communities.
Lisa has a passion for public health and assisting underserved populations gain access to opportunities that promote optimal health.
