Jen Love-Tillotson

Purdue University
Regional Supervisor
Indianapolis, Indiana Area
In Indiana where 1 in 7 people face food insecurity and 2/3 of our population are overweight or obese, we face a real public health crisis. Jen Love-Tillotson’s passion is to make Indiana a healthier place for Hoosiers. She serves as Supervisor of Purdue Extension’s Nutrition Education Program in Central Indiana, leading a talented and dedicated team to help people find that the healthy choice can truly be an easier choice.

Before devoting her work to nutrition and wellness, Jen worked as a Regional Supervisor with the Indiana State Department of Health on the state’s public health preparedness and emergency response initiative; also a major public health endeavor.

Jen’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Health and Nutrition Education from Hawthorn University, and a Bachelor degree from Indiana University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Management and Leadership at Purdue Global University.

In her free time, Jen enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, and backpacking. She serves on various committees and volunteer organizations, including the Top 10 Coalition for Transforming Health in Central Indiana and the Indiana Healthy Weight Initiative. She loves to cook delicious and nourishing vegetarian meals for her amazing family and friends. Jen has two incredible teenagers, a brilliant and wonderful husband, and two lazy dogs who really need to start helping out more around the house.

Jen would love to connect with you on Facebook at Purdue Extension Nutrition Education Program - Central Region, Twitter @jlovetillotson or Instagram @healthyeasychoice. While you’re online, check out the great new Extension program website: EatGatherGo.org!
