ECOP: Extension Committee for Organization and Policy Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities
Charles "Chuck" Hibberd, a Lexington, Neb. native and UNL graduate assumed the position of University of Nebraska's Dean of Cooperative Extension Division Oct. 1, 2012. Hibberd was the director of Extension and Associate Dean of Agriculture at Purdue University from 2007-2012. Previously, he was director of the Panhandle Research and Extension Center at UNL Extension.
Hibberd received his bachelor's degree in agriculture, with an animal science major and his master's and Ph.D. degrees from Oklahoma State University in animal science and animal nutrition, respectively. He was a faculty member at OSU from 1982-94.
