Effectively Reaching Enrollment Goals in New York State through both Urban and Rural Programming Description
Direct nutrition education reaches into both urban and rural communities in New York State (NYS).   This session will describe the similarities and differences.  There are a variety of challenges in these  locations that need different strategies for reaching audiences, addressing participant needs, and meeting caseloads. This session will address how leadership in NYS has designed EFNEP to meet these challenges.
Learning Objectives
The learner will be able to:
  • Compare and contrast urban and rural programming
  • Describe benchmarks and strategies for ensuring program goals are achieved
