Anam Bhatti has over 4 years of experience working with the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program at the University of Maryland Extension. She has strong experience in youth program coordination and has led the creation and adaption of several youth curricula centred around cooking, gardening, technology and body image for youths from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities. In addition to this role, Anam brings valuable skills in health communication and social media development which she has used to develop Maryland EFNEP’s communication strategy. Previously Anam has worked for the Boston Public Health Commission, where in addition to overall project coordination, she led the CDC sponsored Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) Demonstration Project’s Out-of-School Working Group. Currently, she serves as a Senior Research Program Coordinator for the Lerner Center for Health Promotion at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Anam received her B.A. in Health and Administration and Policy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and her Master in Public Health – Global Health from Boston University School of Public Health.
